The first step is to purchase your No-Risk Impression Kit.
Your No-Risk Impression Kit. ($49) is the only thing you’ll need to purchase today. There is no obligation to purchase aligner treatment after submitting your impression kit. After your doctor has reviewed your impressions you can purchase or finance the All-Day Aligner Plan ($1699) or the At-Night Aligner Plan ($2099).
Some patients prefer the All-Day plan to get their treatment completed as quickly as possible while others prefer the convenience of the At-Night plan.
You do not need to decide now. After you dentist/orthodontist reviews your impressions they will provide estimated treatment times should you choose the All-Day or the At-Night treatment plan. It is at this point that you will need to purchase or finance the treatment plan you want.
After you send in your No-Risk Impression Kit your doctor/orthodontist will review your impressions to verify that you’re a candidate for treatment. We are able to treat most patients/conditions, but we’ll refund the cost of the impression kit should you not be a candidate. We need to review your impressions, photos, and questionnaire to make this determination.
The growing network of state-licensed dentists and orthodontists using the UpSmiles platform has several years of experience in aligners. Through our platform, they treat mild to moderate malocclusion, and they are licensed in the states where the candidate resides. They use their own professional discretion and may require additional information from the patient via the UpSmiles platform before approving a candidate for treatment. UpSmiles and those doctors who use our tele-health platform comply with the practice of dentistry and tele-health based on the state laws that regulate their licensure.
Each candidate must confirm that they have visited their regular dentist within the past 6 months and that they will continue to see their regular dentist during treatment. This is to avoid any complications for starting aligner treatment. Ideal candidates must sign a consent form prior to beginning treatment. Any contra-indications will be reviewed by the doctor prior to approving the candidate for treatment.
Aligner Treatment FAQs
Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically and even rotating them when needed. Your aligners are engineered to use the right amount of force in the right place at the right time. When you change to the next set of aligners (typically every week or two), your teeth gradually move into a straighter position.
- Unlike traditional orthodontic braces, aligners allow you to keep your gums healthy.
- Proven results and predictable tooth movement.
- Better fit, better comfort, more hygienic than braces, and no food restrictions.
- Effective for a wide variety of mild to moderate cases including those who have spaces between their teeth, crowding, teeth rotations, minor crossbites and minor deep bites.
- Flexibility, removal of aligners whenever you want.
The treatment range is 2-10 months with most averaging as little as 3 months using HFV or 6 months without HFV. Ideal cases are those that require minor to moderate tooth movement. You must wear your aligners for approximately 20 hours per day to achieve results. Compliance is critical.
It’s not much different than wearing braces. Both aligners and braces use light force pressure to move teeth. HFV may help make the tooth movement process more comfortable and may potentially cut down on your treatment time by almost half. You can accomplish this with HFV for 5 minutes twice daily or chewies which are included in your aligner package. Both help facilitate the seating of your aligners.
There are no doctor office visits required, although we have professionally staffed locations for you to go to in select markets. Aligners are mailed directly to your home. You must sign a consent form indicating you have been given a clean bill of oral health by your dentist. The dentists or orthodontists on our tele-health platform will evaluate your smile to determine if UpSmiles can achieve acceptable results prior to fabricating your aligners. We always recommend getting a first opinion from a local provider as some cases may not achieve successful results without regular direct professional supervision.

AcceleDent® Optima® FAQs
By inserting the mouthpiece around your aligners and turning on the Activator for 20 minutes every day, AcceleDent Optima can reduce both aligner treatment time and orthodontic discomfort. AcceleDent’s patented SoftPulse Technology® applies precisely calibrated vibrations called micropulses that transmit through the roots of your teeth to the surrounding bone. This gentle vibration helps increase the cellular activity and speeds the rate in which your teeth can move.
Yes, AcceleDent Optima is clinically shown to speed up tooth movement by as much as 50% to decrease treatment time by up to 50% and drive predictable outcomes from your treatment.
Some other aligner companies supplement their treatment with a High Frequency Vibration (HFV) tool. Like SoftPulse Technology®, HFV therapy can reduce your treatment time by half, but only SoftPulse Technology® is clinically proven to also reduce orthodontic discomfort by up to 71%.
Unlike High Frequency Vibration (HFV) treatment, SoftPulse Technology micropulses exert up to 8x less force than a power toothbrush and 200x less force than ordinary chewing. It is the gentle and comfortable solution to accelerate your treatment time and reduce orthodontic discomfort.
Whitening Kit FAQs
Our whitening gel has been clinically proven to be more effective than the main active ingredients in the gel that our competitors offer.
Simply, our gel will remove most stains with a gentle action that whitens your teeth. As our Teeth Whitening Gel is broken down, oxygen acts upon the stained organic deposits, which oxidizes them into a white color. This process brings both the intrinsic and extrinsic parts of the tooth closer to its natural pearly white.
We do not recommend you use our product if you are under the age of 13 or have braces.
If you are pregnant, please consult your ob-gyn prior to using our product.

Our products are specifically designed for people who experience tooth discoloration due to lifestyle habits such as smoking, drinking coffee, wine, tea, and consuming other foods and liquids that cause discoloration. With each application we recommend you do not do either of these for at least 12 hours after each treatment. Whitening after your last meal and beverage of the day will help with this.

One whitening treatment (upper and lower) uses approximately a 1/2 of a syringe of gel. experience of using the whitening process, dabbing just a small amount of gel in the frontal portion of each tooth exposed when smiling only (no need to whiten unexposed teeth).
You won’t encounter any pain or sensitivity during or after your treatment. as an added bonus we included a Desensitizing gel.

We recommend waiting until your braces are removed before using the Teeth Whitening Kit to avoid uneven whitening. You may be able to use the Kit with a retainer, but this will depend on the sort of retainer you have. It’s best to speak to your dentist before use.
Our Gel Refills include 3 additional Gel Syringes, to resupply your Teeth Whitening Kit and help maintain or improve your results. Depending on your consumption of dark foods, everyday stains may start to creep back in after your initial treatment.
